Catholic Charities Collecting Holiday Gifts for Kids
ST. CLOUD -- There's still time to make the holiday season a little brighter for a local child in need.
Catholic Charities of St. Cloud is currently collecting donations as part of their annual Holiday Toys gift drive.
Holiday Toys recipients are ages 16 and younger, so donors are asked to consider buying things for a variety of age groups. All toys, games and other items must be new and unwrapped.
Gifts can be dropped off at Catholic Charities Emergency Services at 157 Roosevelt Rd., Suite 100. Drop-off hours are Monday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Wednesday from 9 a.m-7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-noon.
The last day of gift distribution is Dec. 19.
The Holiday Toys program is a partnership between Catholic Charities and the Marine Corps League - Valhalla detachment's Toys for Tots campaign. Last year, the drive collected over 15,000 toys for nearly 2,500 local children.
