Cathedral Hockey Tops Rochester Lourdes Saturday

The #5-ranked Cathedral Crusaders shut out #10 Rochester Lourdes 3-0 Saturday afternoon at the Municipal Athletic Complex. The Crusaders improve to 4-0 on the season with the win.

Matt Fritz started the scoring for CHS with a goal at the 7:33 mark with an assist credited to Will Hammer. The Crusaders outshot the Eagles 15-3 in the period.

Phil Ruegamer scored the second period's only goal to make it a 2-0 game heading into the third period.

Brady Johnston completed the scoring with a power play goal at 3:02 of the third period.

Zach Fritz made 18 saves to earn the shutout for Cathedral.
