‘Bringing the Zoo To You’ with the Hemker Park and Zoo [VIDEO]

I love when our friends from the Hemker Park and Zoo in Freeport stop by the Mix 94.9 studio. This week, they brought two cold blooded friends named Gator and Piper. I haven't had the chance to hold a baby alligator since the time I took a swamp tour in New Orleans back in 1999. This is why I love the Hemker Park Zoo, they bring the ZOO to You!

We celebrated my daughters 10th birthday at the zoo last weekend, and had a blast! The kids were able to get up close and personal with the animals, and even got to feed Monticello the giraffe.

They also got to spend some time harmonizing with the "singing dogs" before we left!
