HOLIDAY LIGHTS FOR HUNGER

We've begun the new year, and many of us still have our holiday lights up on our homes; waiting for the perfect warm day to take them down. Once you do, what do you do with them? If your lights are getting old, or maybe you have a whole tub of lights that you haven't used for years, you can now donate them and help support your community.

MEET CW COMPANIES

CW Companies, a family-owned metal recycling company based in Minnesota, has teamed up with Menard's and Fleetfarm in various locations, as well as over 50 other locations across Minnesota and North Dakota, for the 'Holiday Lights For Hunger' campaign.

This campaign aims to recycle unwanted holiday lights that would typically end up in a landfill. The proceeds generated from these donations will go to local food shelves to help families that are struggling with hunger, in our local communities.

CAMPAIGN IN ITS 2ND YEAR

This is just the 2nd year of the campaign, and I can't think of a better way to protect the environment and help people who really need it, all the while you're cleaning out your home of lights that you will no longer be using.

Bring your old strings of lights to any of the 52 locations that are part of the program. To see the full list of the 50+ locations where you can drop off your lights, go to www.holidaylightsforhunger.com.
