Prom is fast approaching!! Do you have your dress yet? Is your daughter begging and pleading with you to try on dresses like its going out of style? Don' worry, I've got great places to stop into to try on dresses for Prom 2013.

I remember going to one place and to one place only when I was attending my Senior Prom. And the most important thing on our mind was not the cost of the dress -- it was the fact that no one else at our school's prom would be wearing our dress. That is a very important factor in choosing where to shop. So yes, great places would include Deb, JCPenny, Kohl's ... but you want to make sure there are no repeat dresses, so check out one or more of the shops below.

If you are looking for the hot dress this year, chances are Celebrations has it for you! Their show room is huge (6,000 sq. ft. to be exact.) With a big showroom, that mean hundreds and hundreds of dresses to choose from! Mom, grab your coffee and watch your daughter play dress-up.

Much like the name of the shop, The Bridal Boutique & Outlet equals savings on the dress you will wear once. Well, a few times if you use it for a Halloween costume or need a formal dress for an event. You can save up to 60% on their dresses and they come in all sizes, from 0-22.

Mestads

One of my favorite things about Mestads is their size selection. They have dresses from a 0 to 30. (We all know formal dresses run really small.) You want to feel beautiful on prom night and not have to get stuck wearing something out of the 80's. Mestads has thousands of dresses to choose from, too. The second great thing is that they have lay-by. If you can't afford your dress, they will work something out with you and your family.

Specialty House has all the top brands the kids are talking about wearing, but at affordable prices. You can preview their dresses online before you head to the stop to try on hundreds of dresses to find the right one for your magical evening. Prom is the preview to the big night down the road. Prom dress shopping is much like wedding dress shopping --  say yes to the dress!
