We had the pleasure of catching up with young hollywood's Atticus Shaffer, better known to millions of fans as "Brick Heck" in ABC's hit comedy "The Middle." Atticus suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, type IV, a genetic condition he inherited from his mother, who has type I. His small stature from this condition helps him play a character on The Middle four years younger than his actual age.

Atticus has an impressive resume at such a young age. He's joined heavyweights like "Will Smith" in "Hancock" and most recently lent his voice to the character "Edgar" for the Disney blockbuster "Frankenweenie." He told us who he's closest to on the set of "The Middle" and how he's living not to far from the hood?

Catch Atticus every Wednesday night on ABC's incredible comedy lineup. The Middle airs 7PM Central and he's not on Twitter but does keep up with fans personally on his official Facebook page.
