Tired of virtual trivia and watching online concerts? Check out these live events happening around Central Minnesota that you can actually attend in-person!

With the latest round of COVID restrictions lifted in Minnesota, many cooped-up Minnesotans are eager to get out of the house and back to the things they used to do before! With the recent announcement that indoor venues like museums, theaters and bowling alleys can reopen at 25% capacity and bars, restaurants and breweries can reopen for indoor dining at 50% capacity, some are starting to fill up their calendars again with live events for people to enjoy. Here are some we found:

Saturday, January 16

Laugh til it hurts with comedian Adrian Washington and friends at the Red Carpet Nightclub in St. Cloud Saturday, January 16 from 7:00-9:00pm. Tickets are $15.

 

Saturday, January 16

Local artist Luke Bakken will be performing at Nordic Brewing Co.'s recently-upgraded event space in Monticello. Show starts at 6:00pm; no ticket required.

 

Saturday, January 23

Join Rustic Peach at Nordic Brewing Company Saturday, January 23 from 2-6pm for a candle-making workshop! Sip on a local hand-crafted brew while you create your own gentle cracking wood wick, pure soy wax candle! Cost is $22; live music to follow is free.

 

February 11-13

Justin Ploof and The Throwbacks present "Jive Talkin - Best of The Bee Gees" at Pioneer Place on Fifth in St. Cloud. Originally scheduled for July 16-18, 2020 the show will run run for three nights February 11-13.

 

February 26-27

Stacy Bauer takes the stage at Pioneer Place for two nights of Janis Joplin hits February 26 and 27.
