2 Arrested in South St. Cloud Drug Bust

ST. CLOUD -- Two people have been arrested on Monday after authorities received a tip about possible drug sales in south St. Cloud.

Commander Steve Soyka with the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force says they conducted a search warrant in the 3800 block of Roosevelt Road.

During the search, investigators found one-thousand dollars in cash, a half-pound of marijuana, and about two pounds of methamphetamine.

The suspects, 28-year-old Michael Goodman and 27-year-old Hayle Soyring, both of Waupun, were arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail. They are expected to be charged with 1st degree possession of a controlled substance.

The St. Cloud Police SWAT team and K-9 Unit assisted the task force, along with several law enforcement from the surrounding area.
