This Saturday June 9th marks the 13th annual Lake Wobegon Trail Caramel Roll Ride.  Its sponsored by the Lake Wobegon Trail Association and promises to be fun for the entire family.  Start a new tradition with your kids and take a "sweet roll along a sweet trail".

You can select from three ride options this year including a Western, Northern and Easter ride.  The Western ride is 24 miles roundtrip while the longest is the Northern ride at 46 miles roundtrip (Eastern is approx 30 miles roundtrip).  There are so many benefits to bike riding and we hope to see all of you out this weekend for all the fun.  The Lake Wobegon Trail Association will contribute part of the proceeds from this years ride to support the efforts of local communities and groups to plant more trees and shrubs along the trail.

The ride will start at City Hall in Albany (400 Railroad Ave) with registration / check in from 8-10AM **at registration you will receive your wrist band and free caramel roll.  For more information please contact Cliff Borgerding 320.293.9364 or email Cliff@lwtrails.com

The Get Up & Go Show will be live from 6-10AM tomorrow morning (6/8) at Jordies Trailside Cafe in Bowlus to help promote this great event and we encourage everyone to bring their bikes out and enjoy the Soo Line Bike Tail.  Jordies will have fresh baked cinnamon rolls and coffee for those that stop by and say hello.
