Maroon 5 fill in the physical gaps with liquid and a little tenderness in their video for ‘Love Somebody.’ It’s sort of reminds us of that 2000-released Kevin Bacon movie ‘Holllow Man.’

The video is a stark clip, bathed in white tones with only pieces of the members of Maroon 5, namely Adam Levine, and a hottie in heels, made visible. They end up revealing themselves by smearing a paint-like substance on one another. It’s as though one another’s touch is what makes them come alive.

We are truly “being” when we have a physical connection with someone else.

The clip is subtle in its sexiness, and it’s what you don’t see that is most captivating.

At one point, Eminem was the most “liked” person on Facebook before his ‘Love the Way You Lie’ duet partner Rihanna stole the crown. One person he doesn’t like right now? Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg — how cyclical, right?

Em has launched a lawsuit against Facebook for wrongfully using music that sounds “substantially similar” to his song ‘Under the Influence,’ from 2000′s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP,’ in a Facebook ad.

Here’s the gist of this legal mess.

Em’s lawsuit claims that advertising agency W+K used the music as a way to curry favor with the social media site by catering to its founder’s personal taste. It cites an example of the Zuck’s childhood web page, which indicted he was all about the rapper.

The suit alleges that Facebook later altered the ad and changed the music, which the suit also deems an admission of guilt and proves that Facebook was aware that it had infringed.

Still, changing the music doesn’t remove fault or veto copyright infringement, since Em’s Eight Mile Style publishing company has ownership of derivative Eminem tracks, too. Eight Mile Style is seeking the maximum damages available under the law, which is as much as $150,000 per infringement.

The complaint also says that defense attorneys claimed that the song ‘Under the Influence’ was stolen from Michael Jackson.

What a mess. Whatever the case, it’s up to the courts and legal eagles to deal with.

I’ve watched this several times. So beautiful!

On tonight’s (May 20) live rounds of Season 4 of ‘The Voice,’ the Top 10 performed for America’s votes, singing tunes selected by their coaches, who no longer have any say in who stays and who goes. Although if they choose the wrong song, they could be the indirect force which sends their contestants home. Here’s how things shook out.

TEAM ADAM LEVINE:

Judith Hill: Hill was Michael Jackson‘s backup singer, and she was torn about singing the King of Pop’s ‘The Way You Make Me Feel.’ A. Lev chose the song so Hill could have a little fun and show off a lighter side, since we already know she can belt out a weighty ballad. But it was tough for her, since she worked with Jackson and was emotionally attached. She funneled that personal passion into her perf.

Amber Carrington: The country-pop cutie sang Kelly Clarkson‘s power ballad ‘Breakaway,’ which was right in her wheelhouse, mixing both generes. It was quality and solid from stem to stern.

Sarah Simmons: The vocalist stepped away from the ethereal and angelic power tracks she has become known for in favor of a bluesy, rock song with ‘Mamma Knows Best.’ She was able to show off her bad girl side and that first note? She suh-layed it.

TEAM BLAKE SHELTON:

Holly Tucker: She belted a classic gospel track in the form of ‘How Great Thou Art’ and it was powerful, and, well, great.

The Swon Brothers: The twosome performed ‘How Country Feels’ by Randy Houser, giving it folky-country tinge. The Bros. are from Oklahoma, which was rocked by a tornado tonight, and they sent out their love.

Danielle Bradbery: She rocked the country track ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California’ while seated. It was excellent and upbeat.

TEAM USHER:

Josiah Hawley: The Robin Thicke-coiffed singer rocked out to Coldplay‘s ‘Clocks.’ It was inconsistent but it was also a risky song to do. The ladies love this crooner. Ush is convinced people will one day “get” Josiah.

Michelle Chamuel: The nerdy indie singer delivered a surprising and rousing rendition of Pink‘s ‘Just Give Me a Reason.’ Who knew she had it in her?

TEAM SHAKIRA:

Sasha Allen: The NYC’er delivered a gorgeous version of Emeli Sande‘s ‘Next to Me.’

Kris Thomas: Shakira wanted to show Kris’ sexy and upbeat side with Miguel‘s ‘Adorn,’ since we’ve already seen the fragile Kris. It was modern and fun.

We had all hoped that when Tan Mom was done shooting those unfortunate topless photos a while back, she’d soon be off the grid and our lives could continue on as normal, but unfortunately the internet gods want her in the spotlight at the moment. Her video — titled ‘It’s Tan Mom’ — is filled with claims saying she’s hotter than both Teen Mom and Octomom, but it looks as if she’s succeeded in proving only the opposite.

The Dr.Luke-produced song is a total feel-good anthem that boasts a great message for a children’s movie. The song, which will run over the ending credits of ‘Smurfs,’ starts, “You don’t have to look like a movie star / Ooh I think you’re good just the way you are / Tell me if you could, would you up and run away with me?” Is Brit sending a message to her little boys Sean and Jayden? We think so!

‘Ooh La La’ sounds like it won’t exactly be the first cut on Brit’s upcoming eighth studio album as she’s already said she’s taking her next musical endeavor in a more hip-hop direction. The mega-star songstress will also get help from some big names on her next release, with will.i.am already saying he will executive produce the LP along with rumors of Diplo’s involvement flitting around.

Sources close to the production claim that the controversial star will exit ‘American Idol‘ after Season 12 wraps tomorrow (May 16). She served on the judge’s panel for a season, famously clashing with Mariah Carey, who also sat on the panel for her first year.

With original judge Randy Jackson revealing that he is definitely bouncing, it’s rumored that Carey and Keith Urban, also a neophyte, will be moving on, too. They’ve not announced their future plans yet, since the Season 12 finale is this week. However, it’s pretty much a done deal for her Minajestry.

“It’s safe to say she isn’t coming back to ‘Idol,’” a source told Us, stating that the wig-loving vixen will instead be focusing on her next album, touring and endorsements. “She’s okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway,” the insider further stated.

That’s a contrast to her recent comments, claiming she was happy with the gig. Still, the season is experiencing record lows when it come to ratings, which indicates to producers that a shake up is required.

Where’s there’s smoke, there’s flame and here, it seems like a new ‘Idol’ look is on deck for Season 13 in 2014.

Good thing Christina Aguilera is coming back to ‘The Voice‘ next season, because the panel will be down one pint-sized, fiery blond superstar. Shakira confirmed that she won’t be returning for the NBC hit’s fifth season.

“I’m not going to be able to do next season because I have to get back to my motherhood and also get back to the studio, the recording studio, to finish my album, the one that I started working on before I had to deliver a baby and before I took this gig with ‘The Voice,’” Shakira told Us Weekly. “So yeah, I have to take a little break. But you never know, I might come back!”

She went on to TODAY.com (via Gossip Center) to say of her son, Milan, “He deserves a break, and that’s why I’m going to take a break for next season.”

So that makes three out of four of the original judges signed on for Season 5. What about Cee Lo Green? Carson Daly said he’s in talks to return as well, but nothing’s finalized yet.

“I don’t know. I think they are working on a deal to be honest with you, and I don’t think it has been finalized,” Daly revealed. “I don’t know the answer to that. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was, sooner or later. It sounded like today it was like, ‘Yeah, they are working on it,’ which, usually those things work out, but I don’t know.”

Backstreet is really back, alright!

All five original members of Backstreet Boys — Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson – have reunited and will release the new album ‘In a World Like This’ on July 30.

The band performed the new song ‘Permanent Stain’ on ‘GMA,’ which you can view below. It’s pretty, catchy and full of harmonizing.

The Boys are further celebrating their 20th anniversary with a headline tour beginning Aug. 2 in Chicago. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 17. To show their appreciation for Backstreeters, the Boys will be giving away a free download of ‘Permanent Stain’ with the purchase of tickets to their upcoming U.S. tour. That’s a two-fer you can’t beat.

Jesse McCartney, who has been MIA from music for the past two years, and DJ Pauly D of ‘Jersey Shore’ will open the trek.

Taylor Swift crashed the wedding of Cece and Shivrang on tonight’s (May 14) season finale of Fox’s ‘The New Girl,’ titled ‘Elaine’s Big Day.’ While a badger got loose in the air ducts, making for a silly and fun subplot, Swift turned out to be the other woman and much more fun than the critter.

Zooey Deschanel’s Jess and Nick crash the wedding — literally — by falling through the ducts and the ceiling. Yes, we know, we were shocked that that was all taking place at a nuptials.

After the badger gets loose, Cece comes to her senses and calls off the wedding because she wants to be with someone else. Shivrang was okay with it, since he wanted to be with someone else, too! His someone else was Swift’s Elaine.

How’s that for a twist?

Upon Shivrang’s admission of his everlasting love, Elaine stands up and does the patented Taylor Swift Just Won an Award ‘O’ Face. It was adorably self-referential.

“Oh, Shivvy, I’ve loved you since the first grade,” she gushes. “I lay awake at night and write about you in my journal and paint pictures of you on my easel…You are not too short for me — I don’t care what your mother says. Let’s go to Vegas and elope.”

Shivvy carries Elaine out of the wedding hall and they will live happily ever after….we assume.

Experience isn’t always the most important qualification for a politician. Sometimes dimples work just fine.

The mayor of teeny, tiny Dorset, Minnesota (population 22) is a four-year-old boy named Robert “Bobbie” Tufts.

We don’t know if his senior advisor is Rubber Duckie or if he pledged naptime for all citizens, but Bobbie won the coveted post in a drawing the town has each year, in which a name is pulled out of a hat. It only costs a dollar to enter and you don’t have to live in the town, which just goes to show Dorset treats its community a little bit differently than, say, every other town in the world.

Bobbie’s term will come to a close in August, but his constituents have certainly taken a shine to him. One person in town said, “He’s right in your face and well-spoken. You can’t imagine what a ball of fire he is. He’s amazing. He’s just completely amazing.”

As part of his mayoral duties, Bobbie helps people cross the street, as well as cheers up the townsfolk by singing and dancing. Of course, being the age of four, you can’t help but wonder if he’s tried to get a Thomas the train station to roll through town, too.

Unlike many other politicians, Bobbie seems untainted by scandal — for now, anyway. The tot, who has yet to finish kindergarten, claims to only have one girlfriend. But we all know how power attracts scandal, right?

Silly. That’s how a Beyonce insider labeled the pervasive rumors that the singer, actress, fashion designer, H&M spokesmodel and mother of Blue Ivy is already expecting her second child.

The rumors took flight yesterday (May 13), with Bey being “accused” of concealing an expanding belly with a high-waisted and belted Givenchy gown at last week’s Met Gala. It wasn’t a stretch, since Bey did keep her first pregnancy under wraps, revealing it at the 2011 MTV VMAs red carpet, sending the message that we’re on a need to know basis and KingBey will tell us what we need to know when she is good and ready.

One source scoffed, “This rumor again? Don’t be silly.”

Another friend confirmed the singer’s desire to expand her family, but only when the time is right. “I know another kid is in the future, but it wouldn’t make sense for her right now while on tour,” a friend said.

Bey did tell the folks at ‘Good Morning America’ that she wants brothers and/or sisters for Blue…just not right now. “I would like more children,” she said. “I think my daughter needs company. I definitely love being a big sister.”

So there. Bey wasn’t camouflaging her bulging bump with a dress that we didn’t love, because, really, the black and gold gown was not a good look and was too overdone with the belt, the gloves, the matching boots and embroidery. Instead, Bey was dressing up as she saw fit. There was no fashion-as-function, no “hidden” agenda and no bump to conceal. Relax, people!
