Almost half of couples who get married meet through mutual friends, or through work.

Researchers asked over 10-thousand married couples how they met. These are the SEVEN most common answers.

1. Through a mutual friend, 25%.

2. At work, 24%.

3. Randomly while they were out with friends, like at a bar, 15%.

4. Through online dating, 14%.

5. In college, 11%.

6. At school BEFORE college. So, high school sweethearts, 10%.

7. At the gym, 1%.

Brittany and me fall into the 15-percent who were randomly out. Yes, we were at bar... but it was for an all you can eat fish fry. Romantic, right?

That night Brittany had the bar tender slip me her number on napkin... fast forward through all the other stuff, Brittany (let me remind you, she gave me her number at random) FINALLY, the FIFTH time I asked her out, she said she would like to go out on a date.

Now we're getting married... maybe I should have stopped asking after the fourth time? JUST KIDDING!
