New Kids on the Block

We had Danny Wood from the New Kids on the Block join us on the Get Up & Go Show this morning to chat about the groups new album "10" and also took fan questions from our Facebook and Twitter pages.

New Kids on the Block are back with a brand new studio album "10" and sold out arena tour that kicks off next month in Connecticut.

One of my closest friends in the music business, Jeff Timmons, founding member of the multi-platinum group 98 Degrees called the Get Up & Go Show this morning. The big news dropped yesterday that 98 Degrees would return to the stage after a 10 + year hiatus with NKOTB and the legendary R&B group Boyz II Men as part of The Package Tour.

Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell called the Get Up & Go Show to chat about the bands new holiday single "It's Christmas Time Again" and how it feels to be celebrating two decades of creating pop magic with his fellow bandmates.

The boys of summer are back with a new single and video! We love us some ONE DIRECTION here in Central Minnesota and couldn't get enough of their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" here on Mix 94.9. Boy bands are back with a vengeance, for example we just got word 98 Degrees will reunite for a one time show in Hershey, PA later this summer and the super group NKOTBSB just wrapped their world tour earlier this month.

For those that don't know, I have a history with former boy band members and my guilty pleasure is keeping up with what they have going on currently. I use to work with Jeff Timmons of the multi-platinum group 98 Degrees, Bryan Abrams from Color Me Badd and former NKOTB members Danny Wood and Jordan Knight.
