This movie is absolutely phenomenal and it saddens me that for the rest of time it will be associated with the tragedy in Colorado. The midnight showing at Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park was a wonderful and joyous event. My heart goes out to the community of Aurora, CO, but I will not let one man's actions ruin the fun of the movies for me. I hope the rest of our society feels the same.

As far as adaptations go, The Hunger Games was done very well. I found myself getting pretty emotional as I saw Katniss on the big screen struggling to survive. The casting was done perfectly, with each actor embracing their role and making it their own.
