Two days after he was attacked in Manhattan, singer Gavin DeGraw is released from the hospital and has taken to his Twitter account to tell everyone he's alright.

On Monday, DeGraw was walking home from a bar in Manhattan when he was attacked by a pack of thugs and beaten up. He managed to escape and walk 13 blocks before he was hit by a taxi cab. That's when a bystander called police. DeGraw was taken to Bellvue Hospital where he was treated for a broken nose, black eye and facial cuts.

Yesterday, DeGraw took to his Twitter account to tell everyone he is alright and to thank them for their well wishes.

While DeGraw is expected to recover, he has canceled several upcoming appearances and it is unclear whether he will be able to resume his tour with Maroon 5 and Train in time for their show at the Minnesota State Fair.
