Gavin DeGraw Attacked; Hospitalized In New York

Singer Gavin DeGraw is recovering after being attacked and hit by a taxi cab in New York City. 

Gavin was hanging out and drinking with some of his buddies in a bar in New York and took off on his own at about 4:30am yesterday morning.

He was approached by a pack of thugs and attacked on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He was left with a broken nose and cuts on his face. He managed to escape but then he was somehow hit by a taxi cab.

The NYPD says Gavin wasn't hit too hard by the cab and he's recovering at Bellvue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. The police also said the motive doesn't appear to be robbery.

Gavin has an apartment in Manhattan. He and his brother also own a bar there called the National Underground. No arrests have been made as of yet.
