You would think after moving time and time again for my career, that I would get used to it at some point.  Maybe even become a pro of sorts.  That is so not the case.  If anything, I seem to be getting worse.

It takes me months to unpack, and each time I move I accumulate more and more boxes that I don't feel the need to open right away - or - forever.  I finished unpacking six or seven boxes on Sunday.  Almost the entire kitchen checked off my list.  Then I wandered downstairs.

Oh, yeah.  Forgot about THAT room.

When I opened the door and saw the mountain of stuff that was waiting for me, I began to bargain.  "I'm not going to read those books a second or third time, so why not leave them in the box?" and "Do I really need to get into my Scrapbooking materials anytime soon?"

I could just close the door.

Do you have boxes sitting around that still need to be unpacked from the last time you moved?  How long have they been there?  How long does it usually take you to move into a new home from top to bottom?
