Dear Friend,

The lights are going up in the city.

As homeowners prepare their yards for their annual holiday light displays, St. Cloud Hospital put up pink and blue lights outside their door to recognize Prematurity Awareness Week this week.

More than 300 babies were born prematurely last year in St. Cloud alone, and one in 8 babies in the U.S. is born preterm.

This issue is really important to me because I have one friend that gave birth to a preemie, one that was a preemie, plus I have one relative and two other friends that are expecting babies next year.
