The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm knew they had their hands full with the Totino-Grace Eagles on Saturday night at Husky Stadium.  Totino-Grace, the defending state champs, scored TD's on each of its first four possessions to take a 28-0 halftime lead, and eventually coast to an impressive 48-14 victory.

For Coach Bill Magnuson and his team, though, the journey will be more memorable than the end result.  The Storm finished the regular season at 4-4 - but then strung together 3 straight playoff wins - the most impressive being a 22-0 shutout of the #1 seed, and old hated rival, Sartell.

This Storm team will graduate 18 seniors, so next year their may be some growing pains.  But this season will be remembered forever in the Sauk Rapids area.  The entire community is very proud of the effort, dedication, and success that this team achieved this season.
