JFK’s Nephew Christopher Kennedy Lawford Talks Addiction and Gun Violence [AUDIO]
Christopher Kennedy Lawford has been extremely busy the past couple of days. He’s been on a whirlwind media tour to promote his new book “Recover To Live: Kick Any Habit, Manage Any Addiction.” He even joined CNN’s Piers Morgan (along with his cousin former Rhode Island Congressman Patrick Kennedy) for a heated chat where security had to be called to the studio.
This isn’t the first book for Lawford. He’s already topped the New York Times Best Sellers list with “Symptoms of Withdrawal” and “Moments of Clarity.” Lawfords been very vocal about his battle with drugs and alcohol over the years. Now in recovery for more than 25 years, he works to change the stigma attached to those that have struggled with various addictions and mental illness.
The Kennedy’s are no strangers to drug / alcohol related issues and both of Lawford’s famous uncles, President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy were assassinated, so gun violence is something that’s affected his family for generations.
