Betty White’s Secret to Longevity
Betty White is 90-years-old and is showing no signs of slowing down! What’s her secret to a long life?
“I have a two-story house and a very bad memory. I’m up and down those stairs all the time.”
Good to see Betty has a healthy sense of humor. While that does keep someone in good shape, that’s not her real “secret”.
“There’s no spare time, so I’m active all the time. I think that forces you to stay well. To be 90 . . . and still be working, that’s what I wouldn’t have expected. I’m the luckiest broad on two feet.”
My older neighbors are constantly doing things. They do more yard work than I do and I’m a good 55+ years younger than them! Just because you are active, doesn’t mean you are all that healthy. One thing that Betty says isn’t helping her health is her diet.
“I should follow better eating health rules. But hot dogs and Red Vines and potato chips and French fries are my favorite foods.”
Gotta balance out the unhealthy food with plenty of activity. We hear that all the time! The key to a long life, diet and exercise. There is no magic pill, formula, or secret really. Cheers to Betty White for living her life how she wants it!
What’s your guilty pleasure? Mine is cheesecake. If I am at a restaurant and they mention cheesecake, I can’t pass it up!!!
