You’re Invited To An 8 Week Citizen’s Police Course

The Sartell Police Department shared a Facebook post encouraging citizens to learn more about what police officers do. The Metro Citizens Police Academy is an eight-week course that'll teach you about modern-day policing through hands-on learning.

You'll gain knowledge of; police laws, ethics, firearms, emergency driving, how police conduct investigations and more. It's an annual event held the first week of September and runs every Thursday for eight weeks at various locations.
