Will the New Season of “American Idol” Be Judged By a Panel of Former “Idol” Contestants?

With the decline in viewers, American Idol will be doing a little makeover at the judges table again. But who will they pick as judges?

What if former Idol contestants ran the panel? Vulture.com claims Fox is tossing this idea around and have apparently approached Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson about it. They add that Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken are also being discussed.

I'm sure like all the other judge rumors in the past, there will be more rumors to come.

What do you think about a possible judging panel of former Idol contestants? I think it'll return the focus to the singers. We see too much bickering from the judges and not enough on the singers, and that's what the show SHOULD be about, right?
