Where Else Can You Find ‘Authentic’ Pickle Pizza In Minnesota?
The Minnesota State Fair just wrapped up this week, and one of the big favorites at the fair, other than the deep-fried ranch was the pickle pizza. The pickle pizza was introduced in 2022 by Rick's Pizza, and the lines for it stretched over an hour long wait! Well if you enjoy the state fair pickle pizza, here are two other Minnesota pizza shops that have introduced their pickled twist to an odd Minnesota favorite.
Rather than waiting until the next Minnesota State Fair to get your fix of dill pickle pizza, I managed to find two Minnesota pizzeria who seem to have figured out pickle pizza, at least the look of it from these photos.
The first place that serves up some dill pickle pizza is George's Vineyard in Northfield Minnesota.
The pizza has it: Alfredo sauce, garlic, dill pickles, dill, and ranch.
Some Facebook comments have stated that the pizza is available in various sizes, and some people, preferred it over the version served at the Minnesota State Fair.
The second place offering up dill pickle pizza, which appears to be on par with what you find at the Great Minnesota Get-Together is Mana Brewing in Shakopee.
Mana Brewing's pickle pizza is on their online menu right now, and is made with ranch sauce, sliced pickle, dill weed, and mozzarella cheese.
Both pizzas feature flat hamburger-style cut pickles, and both feature dill/dill weed sprinkled on top.
You can find George's Vineyard at 1160 Highway 3 S, Northfield, MN
You can find Mana Brewing at 129 Holmes St S, Suite 100, Shakopee, MN
I know Pantown has a frozen pickle pizza that they will make, but am I missing another spot that offers up the 'authentic' pickle pizza? Hit me up on our app, or comment and let me know.
