What Were You Not Allowed To Watch As A Kid?

It's funny because I have a 13-year-old sister that is pretty much allowed to watch whatever she wants on TV and Netflix. I was talking to my mom about this over the weekend.

I reminded her that when I was my sister Taylor's age, I wasn't allowed to watch House On Haunted Hill even though it was rated PG 13 and it was a super old movie. I remember begging my mom to watch it and she wouldn't let me.

I also wasn't allowed to watch Jackass The Movie or The Sopranos. There was a lot I wasn't allowed to watch but those three are the ones I still remember today.

I'm not sure if parents change as they get old and have more children, or if times have changed and parents let kids watch more today than they did when I was a child.
