A new study by researchers at Chapman University in Southern California revealed the top five things we really fear.

I'm guessing the results were out before Ebola made an appearance stateside, because I'm sure that "contracting a virus for which there is no cure" would make the top five if this was done today.  At least it's on my list.  (Thank you WebMD)

Here's the results:

5. Public speaking

4. Mass shootings

3. Lack of safety on the internet

2. Identity theft

1. Walking alone at night

They also asked what people WORRIED about the most and "coming down with a serious illness" did make that list.  Yeah!  I'm not alone in my paranoia!
