This past weekend was pretty eventful... even had a mountain lion.

Never a dull moment at in the in-laws house. Friday night we got there and Brittany's dad, Gary, had me help him put a new light bulb in the cattle barn. Sound uneventful? No way. Not when you're watching for mountain lion that has been spotted in there area and the tracks of the said mountain lion walking right through the front yard!!

We didn't even bring a rock to throw at this mountain lion, if it was ready to pounce, we would have been dinner. Gary told me the story of when he first saw the tracks, he wasn't sure what they were, so he followed them (unarmed) and they led to a tree and then they were gone. The big kitty jumped up in the tree, but was no longer there, thankfully. Gary looked up, looked around and went back in the house. Good choice.

I wanted to catch look at the beast, so I spent a lot of the weekend looking out the windows in the house for the kitty, but we never saw it.

Brittany was a bridesmaid for her friend, Brittany, who happened marry another Matt, at their wedding this weekend. The greatest thing to come out of this wedding, I will never forget the other couple's names when we see them again. Matt and Brittany will be pretty simple to remember.

The picture above is of my two girls at the reception, one is ready for fun, the other is ready for bed.

And we had Christmas with the family while visiting too. Shay, is the only grandchild for Brittany's parents and her brother's (Travis) only niece/nephew and they were ready to spoil this kid. Mission accomplished.

Shay was all smiles as she got a bunch of new toys, including, a singing/talking dog, talking Elmo and Snuffleupagus! How awesome is that? I forgot Snuffleupagus even existed.

Toys, outfits and lots smiles for her Grandma and Grandpa. It was a great weekend.
