It seems like almost everything we do now requires that we purchase tickets online and/or they will be digital.  It's just the time that we live in.  My question is always - what if you don't have a smartphone?  There is usually a way for you to print off the tickets so you can have a paper version of the QR or barcode.  But not always.  So, if you are in that situation, what do you do?  I guess get a smartphone and move into this century?  Or get someone to help you.

This brings me to the fact that now, and for a couple of years now, if you want to go tubing at Powder Ridge in Kimball, you will need to purchase your tickets ahead of time and online.

Online tickets are required. To see availability, please click on "add to cart" and a calendar will appear.  Next click on the date of your choosing to check availability. Snowtubing is open weekends, and peak demand dates such as Christmas Break/MLK Day/Presidents Day.

The tickets are $27 and last for 2 hours of tubing.  They note that if you purchase your tickets at a particular time slot, you need to be there during the specified time slot.  The idea is to cut down on over crowding and avoiding the line up for the tow rope.  Hopefully doing this gives people enough time to tube without having to spend most of your time in line.

There is also a waiver that you will need to sign before spending your time tubing at Powder Ridge.  You can download that waiver on their website as well.

At least the weather will be cooperating now, since we have moved through the relatively warm weather we have been experiencing.  The outlook for the month of January seems to be more seasonal.  Which means below freezing.  So even if we don't get any, or little snow, Powder Ridge will be able to make snow to ensure everyone has a great time.
