Waite Park Man Arrested After Foot Chase in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A Waite Park man has been arrested after he tried to run during a traffic stop. St. Cloud police say it happened at about 11:30 a.m. in the 900 block of 25th Avenue North.

A citizen had followed 28-year-old Reese Hooper from the traffic stop and reported his location to officers. Hooper led officers on another foot chase, and he was ultimately taken into custody in the parking lot of Coborn's on 8th Street North.

He's facing charges of fleeing police on foot, and additional charges from Waite Park.
