Vets & First Responders Can Get Snow Plowed For Free

If you're a veteran, firefighter, member of law enforcement or first responder, you can get your snow plowed for free this winter.

Plowing Vets is a local organization based out of Waite Park, Minnesota dedicated to providing snow removal services to those who "protect our communities" since 2016.

They clear more than 60 driveways each winter for people in Rice, Sartell, St. Cloud, Waite Park, St. Joseph, Albany and Avon.

It's a complete volunteer effort. Local people provide their time, gas and equipment to make sure the men and women who protect and serve our community have cleared driveways and sidewalks.

They do accept donations to help with their operating costs. You can also adopt a driveway and help with the effort.
