UPDATE: Sheriff Identifies 2 People Found Dead in Rural Eden Valley

EDEN VALLEY -- The Meeker County Sheriff's Office has released the identities of the two people found dead Monday in rural Eden Valley.

The sheriff's office responded to the report of two people who were possibly dead in a home in the 56900 block of 340th Street in Harvey Township just after 2:30 p.m.

Deputies arrived to find the bodies of 17-year-old David Cunningham and 15-year-old Jessica Cunningham, both dead of apparent gunshot wounds. Both lived in the home where they were found.

David Cunningham was a student at Atwater Cosmos Grove City High School.

Sheriff Brian Cruze says the investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public.
