UPDATE: Body of 21-Year-Old St. Cloud Woman Found On Mississippi River [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD - The Stearns County Sheriff's office says it was the body of a 21-year-old St. Cloud woman found on the ice of the Mississippi River.

At about 12:45 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) the St. Cloud Police Department notified the Sheriff's Office that a body was found lying on the ice near the Granite City Crossing - or Highway 23 bridge. A walker on the bridge spotted the body at about 12:20 p.m.

The woman's body has been sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.

The police department had taken a missing person's report earlier in the day that may be related.

The St. Cloud police department is also investigating the death of a man, who's body was found along the bank of the river, while they were investigating the woman's death.
