"What the hell this water do, cure cancer? Make hair grow? Did Jesus bottle it when he met that woman at the well? Y’all got to be kidding me."

Writer, actor and director Tyler Perry couldn't believe the price of a bottle of water at his Minneapolis hotel during last week's stop in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

In town for a two-night run of his Madea's Farewell Play Tour at the Orpheum Theatre, he took to Instagram to share how his outrage about the $9 bottles of Fiji water in his hotel room.

"They can’t be serious right?! NINE DOLLARS!!"

According to Bring Me the News, Perry stayed at the Loews Hotel in downtown Minneapolis where a basic single night stay starts at $259.

"I will swallow spit and die of dehydration before I pay 9 dollars for a bottle of water!!"

Apparently $9 for a bottle of Fiji water is too high even for the Madea creator, especially considering a 1-liter bottle of the same brand water at Target sells for just $2.59.
