Two Weekends in One Month We Were Able to Spend With Family – Weird

It doesn't happen often that we get to see my mom, nieces and nephew a couple times a month, usually we get to see them once every two or three months.

They came up earlier this month and spent four days with us, it was great, and we went to the Waite Park Family Fun Days parade, splash pad and a few movies the kids wanted to see.

This time around my mom came back up to take away a TON of Brittany's shoes that she doesn't wear anymore, and some she didn't even know she had (but she needs another pair), all to be sent over to Haiti on Mission Trip from my hometown Church.

The neighbors even caught wind of what we were doing and donated a bunch of shoes and clothes.

We still made time for fun.

On Saturday, we headed to Food Fest and ate way more than any of us needed.

Sunday, my yard became the neighborhood splash pad... We have awesome neighbors.

There were seven kids running around my yard with a slip and slide set-up, two kiddie pools, a swing set with a sprinkle spraying the slide and a pool at the bottom of the slide... there were hot-wheels, bikes and baseball... and, of course, I couldn't find my phone to take one picture.

All I know is, by the end of the day, the kids were beat.

And now, this coming Fourth of July weekend, Brittany's parents are coming up.
