LITTLE FALLS - Two people were hurt in crash Saturday afternoon after the driver fell asleep behind the wheel.

The incident happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Highway 10 near the Highway 27 exit to Little Falls.

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larson says the 70-year-old Cheryl Kluender of Detroit Lakes was driving north on Highway 10 when she fell asleep, left the roadway and struck a tree.

Kluender and her passenger, 73-year-old Howard Kluender of Detroit Lakes were taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital with unknown injuries.
