
Two Escape Meeker County House Fire
LITCHFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Two people were able to escape unhurt after a chimney fire destroyed a Meeker County home early Tuesday morning.
Sheriff's deputies and fire crews from Litchfield and Grove City were called to the scene just after 3:00 a.m.
The The home is located along 226th Street in Litchfield Township.
Authorities say the owner of the home, 59-year-old Kevin Gloege of rural Ortonville, and 56-year-old Lori Jagodzinski of Crystal were able to escape the blaze.
The house is considered a total loss and damage is estimated at $100,000.
