Twins First Spring Training Game Kicks Off Next Week

The Minnesota Twins have their first full squad workout on Monday, which also happens to be Presidents Day. So far, Twins pitchers and catchers have already started reporting for their spring training workout in Florida. This is yet another sign that spring is right around the corner with baseball season about to get underway.

The first spring training game of the year against the Boston Red Sox is set to happen on Friday, February 23rd at 12:05 p.m. Spring training goes through Tuesday, March 27, with their first regular season game kicking off on Thursday, March 29 against the Orioles in Baltimore.

The Twin's first home game of the year is scheduled for Thursday, April 5. They'll take on the Seattle Mariners in a day game.The first 30,000 fans through the gate will get a free Twins hoodie sweatshirt. Tickets for the home opener are on-sale now.
