Troopers Pull Deer River Man From Burning Truck

AITKIN COUNTY -- A Deer River man was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital after his truck caught on fire while he was driving.

The state patrol says the incident happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. today (Sunday) on Highway 65 in Aitkin County.

Fifty-eight-year-old Randy Guthrie had a medical episode while driving and his truck caught fire.

Troopers pulled Guthrie out and stopped the fire.

Guthrie suffered from non-life threatening injuries.
