This MN Nudist Campground Is 1 Hour From St. Cloud

Summers can get hot and sometimes you might feel like shedding all of your layers and letting things air out. Minnesota's largest nudist club is located an hour outside of St. Cloud. In fact, it's not just a club, it's much more than that.

Avatan Nudist Club in East Bethel, Minnesota has a huge 60 foot swimming pool, hot tub, volley ball courts, children's playground, and camping area with available cabin rentals.

I honestly had no idea such thing existed in Minnesota. You can park your RV, set up your tent or rent a cabin and be in the company of other people who also just want to leave their clothes in the closet.

If you plan on taking a dip in the pool, according to their website, clothing is not optional, "If you're in the pool area, everyone else will be naked too, wearing only a towel and a smile."

If you're planning on bringing your camera with you to capture weekend memories, you might want to rethink that idea. No cameras are allowed for obvious privacy reasons.

This nudist club isn't new by any means. According to their website, Avatan Inc has been an AARN affiliated family nudist club for more than 50 years.

It's got all of the amenities you'd expect from a family resort, but everyone is wearing their birthday suit.

Now, before you get all excited and Google how you can make a reservation, you have to become a member first. They've got a few forms for you to fill out online including the first time visitor application, background check form and membership application.
