This Minnesota ‘Grilled Cheese Festival’ Is Everything

I'm a grilled cheese lover, especially in the fall. There's nothing better than an adult sized grilled cheese totally doctored up with your favorite side of hot soup. Mmm!

There's an entire festival that's happening in the Twin Cities totally dedicated to celebrating grilled cheese. Steady my heart! I can feel my childhood dreams coming true.

There are two sessions you can attend on Saturday, Sept. 28. There's one from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a second session from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m

You'll be able to sample a variety of grilled cheese bites created by local chefs. These won't just be your standard two slabs of bread with grilled cheese in the middle...although that's always good. These will be all done up a little differently in hopes they stand out and capture your vote for your favorite.

You might taste some bacon, dill may make an appearance. You never know what you're going to get because the possibilities are endless. That's what makes this event so exciting.

Tickets are available for purchase and will grant you access to unlimited sampling. Yes, I said UNLIMITED. You'll also have access to an all-inclusive open bar, which is why this is a 21 and older event.
