There are three things that come to mind when I think of my fears...spiders, heights and death--probably in that order.

I rode with my husband to grab lunch today and out of the corner of my eye I saw something moving.

I realized all at once that it was a spider and I tried my best not to panic...but, I panicked. I told him that as soon as he could pull over, he probably should.

We eventually pulled over but by that time, the eight legged freak was already gone. It disappeared between the windshield and the roof. I was in a no win situation. If I got back into the car, it could pop out at me again...but, at the same time if I waited to catch it, I could be there waiting all day.

Instead I decided I was going to sit in the back seat. My husband thought it was rude of me to sit in the back and thought I was severely overreacting. I thought it was brave of me to get back into the car.

If you were me, what would you have done in this situation?

P.S. This is a great reminder as the temperatures cool down and we head into fall to check your car for night crawlers. It's getting cold and they're looking to make a home inside for the winter.
