Lace up your shoes, grab your bikes and load up the kids for a great physically active event this weekend. CentraCare Health is holding their Sneakers and Wheels event Saturday to promote health and wellness in kids and teens and to increase opportunities for kids to be physically active, regardless of their ability. Project BrainSafe will be performing helmet fittings and limited helmet sales starting at 9 a.m. You can register for the event online. Cost for the race is $5 per child. First wave starts at 10:00 a.m. at the CentraCare Health Plaza.
Gather up the family and head out to Sauk Rapids this weekend for a day of family fun. Living Waters Lutheran Church is hosting an all day family oriented Fall Festival on Saturday. The day includes A huge rummage sale, live music, silent auction, a car show and bake sale, a money raffle and games for kids. All the fun begins at 8:00 a.m. and is free to attend.
Back by popular demand the second annual Oktoberfest will be back again this weekend. Beaver Island Brewing Company will be hosting the event Saturday in the Beaver Island Back Parking Lot. The festivities include two traditional German bands, food and of course beer. Tickets are $14 in advance and then $17 at the gate. The fun starts at 2:00 p.m.
Enjoy a great outdoor concert in Sartell this weekend. The Sartell Fire Department is holding their first ever fundraising concert at the House of Pizza on Saturday. The event is put on by the Sartell Fire Relief Association. Music will be performed by the Gregory James Band and Levi Pelzer starting at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
Art lovers will be making their way to downtown St. Joseph this weekend for the annual Millstream Arts Festival. This outdoor juried art show offers a wide variety of visual arts, music, dance, enticing foods, hands-on art activities for children, and much more! The festival starts at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and is free to attend.
