THE MAN WITH THE MIDAS TOUCH…ZEDD

Bebe Rexha and country artists Florida Georgia Line have a double genre hit with their collab Meant To Be. Zedd has now tapped into that country magic with his new track, The Middle, featuring vocals by Grammy award winning country artist Maren Morris. But that’s where the country connection begins and ends. Unlike the Bebe/FGL song, “The Middle” is a straight up POP song that makes you want to dance. And considering Zedd’s success with producing female vocalists expect this one to go straight to the top. He’s had hits in the past with Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Alessia Cara, Haley Williams, Hailee Steinfeld and Foxes. I personally believe that he is one of the most talented Producer, DJ, Artists in the game!

When it comes to his experience working with Maren Morris, Zedd told People Magazine… “Grey and I went through roughly 15 different vocalist – mostly pop and lots of A-Listers – but it just didn’t fit. Then I jetted off to Nashville to meet Morris and within 30 minutes knew she was the one”.  Zedd says… “It had nothing to do with country. I don’t care about the genre you’re in. If you sing the song and I want to cry, then I know it’s perfect.”
