The Long Prairie drive-in theater announced they'll be opening for the season early this year! Thanks to the great weather we've been having, they're hoping to open the first weekend in April...unless Old Man Winter does something crazy.

That's great news! Assemble your squad and get ready to catch a few flicks under the stars at The Long Drive In.

So far, they're not really sure what movies they will be showing yet. According to their Facebook announcement, "the movie schedule from the studios is still shifting around right now but we will know more about what's available the closer we get to opening and will be sharing those trailers over the next few weekends."

They're hoping to have Disney's "Raya And The Last Dragon". My son has been desperately wanting to see that movie. This would make for a great family night out.

Even though new movies will be coming out this summer, they still plan to show some classic films a few nights this summer during their 'Summer Of Classics' series. It was very popular during the pandemic.

Last year, the drive-in also showed a few recorded concerts. They plan to partner with Encore Drive-In Nights to host concerts again this summer. And, I'm totally here for it!

They will be allowing RV and tent stays this season. Make a weekend out of it!

Get ready, find your camping chairs, pack some snacks and hit the drive-in!
