‘The Hobbit’ Trailer Premieres on Facebook [VIDEO]

Peter Jackson's life-long journey to bring J.R.R. Tolkien's literary works to life takes another bold step forward today (Wednesday) with the release of 'The Hobbit- An Unexpected Journey' trailer. It appeared on The Hobbit Movie's Facebook page late last night.

The film stars Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins. Fans of the original British The Office series will recognize Martin as Tim Canterbury (who was turned into Jim for the American version), as well as Arthur Dent in the film adaptation of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The Hobbit- An Unexpected Journey is due out December 14th 2012.
