According to a new study, the average woman spends 14,000 hours of her life doing her hair.  If you break it down, that's more than a year-and-a-half, but only breaks down to approx 33 minutes a day, which isn't bad, I guess.  Now out of the 14,000 hours includes everything from visiting the salon, brushing or combing, blow drying, straightening, curling and anything else it takes to get it looking good.

Now assuming you start really taking care of your locks by age thirteen and you live to be 82 years old, that's 69 years of hair care, or approx 202 hours a year. Now I have to admit, the one thing my wife and I fight about constantly, is how long she takes to do her hair.  Its a constant battle over how long it takes, does it look right and how should she cut it.  I have to say, I'm loving the new look, but even with shorter hair, my wait time is still the same.
