NBC has been surprisingly quiet about ‘SNL’'s impending 40th anniversary special, but VH1 has upped the nostalgia ante in a major way. VH1 Classic will begin a 19-day marathon of ‘SNL’'s 40 years on January 28, working backwards through 433 episodes and staging themed mini-marathons along the way.

Our friends at VH1 are developing a new reality TV show called 'Naked Dating.' Each of the episodes has a man and woman dating two different people (yes, they are all nude). There's no word on who the host will be or when they plan to get this show on the air.

Where has TLC been? That question got answered on Saturday night in Hershey, PA when the two surviving members took to the stage for the 2nd annual VH1 Mixtape Festival.

Do we really need another singing competition on TV. We have American Idol, The Voice, X-Factor, America's Got Talent (which sometimes features singing) and now a new one coming to VH1.

Back in the 90's when music videos were the norm on TV, "Pop Up Video" was huge! It was all over VH1 from 1996 through 2002. Don't really know why it ever left the TV, oh yeah, they stopped showing videos!
