I had an appreciation for waste management workers before, but I definitely have a greater appreciation and admiration after watching them -- and their trucks -- at work!

It seems that every winter we report multiple incidents of Minnesota ice fishers leaving their trash behind on the lake for someone else or -- more likely -- no one at all to clean up.

A series of photos shows the gross disregard to common courtesy and respect for Minnesota's natural beauty and economy as winter anglers leave copious amounts of trash and debris behind.

We can all be honest here. Lindsay Lohan is not the image of prim and proper these days. One could even say she is a pile of trash.
