Three years ago today, NDSU student Tom Bearson disappeared after leaving a party a few blocks south of the campus.

A symbol of peace, love and hope lit up the driveway of a Sartell home tonight (Wednesday).

The Tom Bearson Foundation is holding an event on Friday night to raise money to help the community in memory of Tom. "Hoopin' For Tommy B Night" will take place during the Sartell boys basketball game against ROCORI at 6:00 p.m. at Sartell High School.

It was an uplifting day at Blackberry Ridge golf club in Sartell as over 300 people took part in the first-ever golf outing to benefit the Tom Bearson Foundation.

Several comments on social media has the Bearson family speaking up. A number of comments have been made on Facebook stating there are people refusing to work with the police that may provide some answers to Tom Bearson's death.

Fargo police say a man is jailed on homicide charges after a 24-year-old Sartell native was found dead in his burning home near North Dakota State University.
