Get ready for a soccer-filled weekend as St. Ben's gears up to host thousands of players and fans for this exciting tournament!

Apollo and Tech will combine their girls soccer programs into one starting in the fall of 2025. The St. Cloud School Board approved the co-op in their most recent meeting. The team, like many other Tech/Apollo combined teams, will be known as the Crush.

The Tech and Cathedral boys and girls soccer teams have each advanced to the State Soccer tournament this week.

The Tech boys soccer team is looking to win their 7th straight section championship when they play Willmar tonight at 7 p.m. at St. Michael-Albertville High School in the section 8AA Championship. Tech is 7-3-7 and is seeded #2 in the section. Willmar is the #1 seed.

Tech High School is hosting an adapted or DAPE track and field event this Friday starting at 9:30 a.m. Approximately 100 DAPE students with various physical and cognitive disabilities will participate in events that include a softball throw, shot put, soccer kick, long jump, bowling ball toss, and high jump.

Alexandria defeated Tech 91-45 Thursday night in Willmar in the boys basketball section 8-3-A final. The Cardinals and Tigers split the two regular season meetings with the road team winning in each occasion.

St. Cloud Tech will meet Alexandria in the Section 8-3-A boys basketball final for a 3rd straight year Thursday night in Willmar. The Tigers edged Alexandria 71-69 in 2022 and the Cardinals got their revenge on Tech in 2023 winning 56-44.

The Tech boys soccer team lost 3-1 to DeLaSalle in the Class AA State Tournament Semifinals at West St. Paul Regional Athletics Center today. The Tigers' season ends with a 9-9-3 record.

A pair of fights were quickly stopped Wednesday morning at Tech High School.

Tech will play Apollo in the Section 8AA Final at ROCORI High School tonight at 7 p.m. The Tigers upset Willmar 1-0 while Apollo knocked off Alexandria 4-2 in the section semifinals last weekend.

The Tech boys basketball team lost 56-44 to Alexandria Wednesday night in Willmar in the Section 8-3-A Final. The Cardinals were the #1 seed while Tech was seeded #2.

The Cathedral boys soccer team lost 6-0 to St. Paul Academy and Summit School Thursday night at Eden Prairie High School in the Class A State Tournament Quarterfinals. The Crusaders' season ends with a record of 17-2.
