The Tech Boys Soccer team will play 2nd seeded Hill Murray Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at U.S. Bank Stadium in the Class AA State Tournament semifinals. Tech was 5-7-3 when they started the section playoffs but after 4 straight playoff wins, which includes upsets over Willmar, Apollo and last week Cloquet-Esko-Carleton the Tigers are hot.

The 2nd weekend of the Class C and B State Amateur Baseball tournament starts tonight. Nine St. Cloud area teams continue to participate in the tournament. Games are being played in Dassel, Delano, Litchfield and Waconia.

The American Legion Baseball State tournament takes place Thursday - Sunday in Rochester. Both Foley and Sartell will play in the event beginning with pool play today.

Foley lost 7-5 to Belle Plaine in the Class AA State Tournament Consolation Semifinals Wednesday in Sartell at St. Cloud Orthopedics Field. Foley's season ends with a record of 23-7.

The Becker softball team lost 1-0 to Cretin-Derham Hall Thursday in the Class 3-A State Tournament quarterfinals at Caswell Park in Mankato.

The ROCORI Softball team lost 10-0 in 5 innings to top seeded Mankato East Thursday in the Class 3-A State Tournament quarterfinals at Caswell Park in Mankato. Mankato East scored 2 runs apiece in the 1st and 2nd innings and then 6 runs in the 5th inning to secure the win.

The Upsala softball team is back in the Class A State Tournament for a 2nd straight year. The Cardinals captured the section 6A title last week with a win over Browerville-Eagle Valley 6-1 in the section final.

The Becker softball team is back in the state tournament this season after missing it last year. The Bulldogs won the Class 3-A softball title in 2021. Jason Baune is the head coach for Becker.

The ROCORI softball team is back in the Class 3-A state tournament this week after capturing the section 8-3-A title last week by defeating Sauk Rapids-Rice 6-0 in the section final.

The St. Cloud Area Sluggers are returning home from another trip to the state tournament over the weekend.

Several central Minnesota high school robotics teams are officially among the best in the state.
